Twinkie Cake

The Second Coming of Loaf is happening this weekend. On the agenda:

  1. Twinkie Cake
  2. Tiki Bowl Drinks
  3. Interpretive Dance
  4. Lots of Drinking
Has anyone made a Twinkie Cake? I'm a little scared.

Mine will look less like this:

And more like this:

Anyone made tiki bowl drinks? I'm less scared of that one, since as long as it has lots of different alcohols and pretty blue, green, pink or orange colors it is bound to be good. Plus, my last foray into mixology was a success.
Sort of.

I've never made bowl drinks, but I've done that thing where you layer different colors of jello in a clear bowl. Classy.

Maybe you could make the world's largest jello shooter? Red = cherry/rum, green = lemonlime/vodka, orange = orange/whisky, etc.

OK, glad I could help.

That second twinkie cake looks like Howard Stern. I look forward to partaking in 1-4 all at the same time!

i don't understand the part about a cake made of twinkies. they would however make an interesting trifle (maybe). i can't even remember the last time i had a twinkie... oh wait i had 2 for breakfast this morning.

M5K:: Good suggestion. Jello shots would definitely class-up the weekend.

Kadonkadonk:: The whopatooli sounds magical. But that's a bit too much work and I'm on a time budget.

Classy:: I am relying on you to lead the interpretive dancing.

Mr. Shain:: Although he would deny it, Loaf's all-time favorite American food is twinkies, hence the reason for the cake.

All those things were covered and more.

Good times, man.

I think some people had a head-start on me. I was putting down enormous cocktails, but I could never catch up . . .
